James Brandon Lewis & Chad Taylor
SEED ARTISTS is very (very) excited to present the first concert in a new monthly duos series at 73 See Gallery in Montclair, NJ. Forward-looking jazz and creative music on a Sunday afternoon.
If you've been lucky enough to catch Lewis and/or Taylor in concert--together, leading their own groups, or supporting contemporary masters like William Parker, Marc Ribot or Richard Davis--you know that these are musicians of vision, sensitivity, and exceptional skill. A perfect pair to open a series of next-generation music at our favorite gallery in town.
The festivities begin at 2:30 with a FREE kids' music workshop, followed by openers Rio (baritone sax) and Montclair High School's own Willie Oechsli (drums).
Proceeds fund Seed Artists programming.
